Helsinki-based sculptor Miina Äkkijyrkkä has created enormous cows made of car parts. From Viktor Weckman, her art "has mostly revolved around cows. She has made bronze statues as well as paintings with cow motifs. Though these works are not without their merit, they pale in comparison with her majestic metallic cows. Made out of car parts that have been repainted for the desired visual look, Miina Äkkijyrkkä’s cows are bold and eye-catching. The loud colours make them stand out in almost any environment.
